The president and general manager of WPIX-TV in New York City, Richard Graziano has been involved in digital audience sales and development for more than 25 years. His experience spans a diversity of media platforms, including broadcast television and social media. With WPIX-TV, Richard Graziano guides all aspects of operations, with a focus on turning around the flagship station in Tribune’s leading market.
As president and general manager, Richard Graziano has hired a quality leadership team and driven a coordinated digital transformation, which resulted in an audience increase of more than 500 percent over a two-year period. He has also negotiated multiyear broadcast deals with the New York Yankees and the New York Mets.
Before assuming his responsibilities as WPIX-TV, Mr. Graziano served as president and CEO of the Hartford Courant and general manager of FOX CT and WCCT-TV. In these capacities, he led the merger of TV, print, and online operations into an innovative media company called CT1. For his efforts, he garnered placement on Hartford Magazine’s 50 Most Influential list.
